A Week in the Life Scrapbook Event

My friend Marya and I are participating in Ali Edwards’ Week in the Life Scrapbooking event. It’s an event where you slow down, appreciate the little things, and photograph them! Since I only have my iphone to take pictures with, I’ve decided to do these pages digitally. I’ve designed them so that I can print them out at 4×6 photos, but I’ve made the files large enough that I can print them on an 8.5×11 page if I need to.

Here are a couple of pages from Sunday and Monday. You can click on the pictures to make them larger. I’ll post today’s pictures tomorrow. If you want to join in, there’s still time! I bet you have photos on your phone right now that you could use!

(If you’re wondering why some of it is blurry, I have certain rules about posting things about my son online…like not posting his name or pictures of his full face…and these pages broke those rules, so they got blurred!)

I used an app called PicFrame to space out the photos, emailed the collage to myself, and then messed around with it in Photoshop. Most of the digital scrapbooking elements/papers/etc have been collected from:

I’ve been collecting for a while though, so I might have forgotten a couple of sources, sorry! If you see something of yours and I haven’t credited you, let me know and I’ll add your link to the list.

If you decide to participate in the event too, I’d love to see your pages! You can see Marya’s pictures/words from Monday here.

So glad you are doing this!!! My favorite picture is of the Munchkin reaching for that door handle!

Lol. I didn’t realize that was the result.
