Week in the Life 2014!

Yay! It’s time for Ali Edwards’ Week in the Life project again! I love this project. This will be my third year doing it, and I have so much fun looking back at the old albums. Each year is so different! So far, we’ve lived in a different state for each one. Army life, right?

In the past, I’ve printed these pages out as 5×7 pictures, but I wanted to try my hand at digital pocket page layouts, so I decided to make an 8×8 album this year. I am going to mix it up a little with some traditional layouts though. I don’t want to get burned out on pockets, you know?

I’m hoping I can keep with my tradition of staying up super late and finishing each day’s pages before I go to bed, although I didn’t finish all of these until the next day. Still, I just love having a completed album by the end of the week!

Here are my pages for yesterday:

The two traditional pages were quick pages that I modified. The cover was originally a father’s day layout, ha! I added grumpy cat and the sad/mad emojis to the other one, along with all of the personal details and accents. (Arrows and things.) I can’t just let a quick page be a quick page now, can I?
