2014 Album Update

I’ve had a little bit of time to scrap over the past week. Basically, if I finish my homework for my graduate class quickly, I’ll try to scrap something. I even participated in a speed scrap, which is something I hadn’t done before. It was cool; following all of the prompts and seeing how everyone’s page differed just a little bit.

Here are a couple of the pages that I’ve finished recently:

This was a page I made using some pictures of my family that were taken a few days before my husband deployed to Kuwait. He was packing his bags and boxes, and when my eldest son came home, he tried on some of my husband’s gear! That stuff is really heavy! I was surprised at my son’s ability to stand while wearing it.

The layout was made using a couple of kits from Leaving a Legacy Designs: “Cheeky Monkey” and “Commando.” The template is by Gina Cabrera/Digital Design Essentials.

This is another page in my “Tank the Deployment Elf” book, depicting a cute little story from Christmas Eve. It was made with Leaving a Legacy Design’s kit “Up to No Good” and I got the layout ideas from a speed scrap at Scraps N Pieces.

There are actually a couple of other pages that I’ve finished, but I can’t show them to you until they go live on the Leaving a Legacy Designs’ blog first. Once they do though, I’ll be sure to post them here as well!
