Color Story: Winter Wonderland
Hello! For the month of January I’m going to be sharing a photo I’ve taken of Alaska and a coordinating color story. I hope that you enjoy these glimpses of my current home state, and find inspiration from these color palettes. I’d love to see any work you create using them.
This week, I’ll be sharing a picture of one of the prettiest snowfalls this winter. Once the snow finished falling, the sun came out, and JBER looked like a perfect winter wonderland!
My favorite part of winter is when the trees are covered with a soft layer of snow. It’s so pretty, I almost forget that the air is hurting my face. This winter is interesting where the temperatures get so wacky (cold, melty, cold again) that the trees are actually covered with ice that looks like snow! I think it’s called permafrost, but I could be wrong. All I know is that it’s beautiful!
What is your favorite part of winter? Let me know in the comments!
