The Munchkin’s Speech Therapy Update

Speech therapy has been going really well. The Munchkin is saying a bunch of words regularly, and unprompted, which is great. In addition to all of the words I listed last time, he can say “cat”, “dog”, “stop”, “horse”, “turtle” … actually, I think we’ve gotten to the point where it’s hard to list the words because there are so many! He will randomly just bust out with a word that we don’t use very often (“tractor”, I’m looking at you.) and he has gotten really good at parroting things we say. He’s also added a few multi-word phrases, and likes saying “I know” in response to our requests. It doesn’t always make sense, but it’s cute. I’m wondering where he got that from though. I’ll have to start paying attention to see who is the nag. I can just see one of us (John or I) bugging the other one to do something and that person being like “I KNOW! I’ll do it!” It could easily go either way. Maybe both.
