I may not be super crunchy, but I'm no softie either!

Wear ‘Em Wednesday (formerly Babywearing Wednesday)

Oh, hey, look at that! A Babywearing Wednesday post! Except it’s Thursday. Crap. Oh well. BTW, I’m going to start calling it “Wear ‘Em Wednesday”. Sarah thought of it and I like it better.

As you may know, we go into town every Saturday to go to Sam’s Club and run other errands. I had John snap a photo of me wearing The Bean as we were waiting in line to have someone check our receipt. As per usual, the John shot is fantastic (side eye) but if you asked him, he’d say it was because I didn’t stand far away enough.

Other errands we ran that day: Picking up lunch at Cam’s Pizzeria and hanging out with my sleepies in the car while John ran into the Class Six to grab some wine. He got some regular wine for himself, and some chocolate wine for me. I had seen people drinking it and praising it online, but you guys…it’s gross. It was a lot stronger than regular wine, which sounds like it would be a good thing, but it’s not. I had to put ice in it and let it melt quite a bit to even be able to choke it down. I was really sad. It seemed like I should love it, but no.

I figured I’d also thrown in some Small Style in case Morgan starts putting that linky up again. I realized after I got him ready to go, that I dressed The Bean up like an old man, haha! I love it though! His shoes and pants were thrifted, and his cardigan and onesie are from Target. I thrifted that green Bumbo for Fake Grandma Sue for $2!

Before dinner, The Munchkin and I took a little walk to get the mail. This actually probably wasn’t a good idea since he had an ear infection, but he seemed like he was better at the time… It wasn’t until that night that I was like “Oh, right…” Mother of the year!

His hoodie, hat, and jeans were thrifted. The jeans are actually 3T, but they fit like 2T. The hoodie is legit 3T. My little boy is getting so big!! His vest and boots are from Walmart. Don’t over look Walmart for cute clothes. They might not last forever, but often do kids’ clothes go without getting ruined anyway? They’re one juice spill away from the “hourly care only” section of the closet 24/7.

Speaking of hourly care, I just found out that hourly care is closing it’s doors on February 8th! I’m so sad! The Munchkin hasn’t gone since before my mother in law visited, but I signed him up for some days next week and the week after. I guess I’m really going to have to be proactive about that play date resolution; otherwise he won’t have ANY social interaction outside of the family!

Blah. Anyway, I’m wearing a cardigan I got from Forever21, a maternity shirt I thrifted (I say if it looks like a regular shirt, wear it even after the baby is born!), jeggings from Target, and wedges from Walmart. I’ve been wanting a pair of black, closed toe wedges forever, and I’ve never seen them. I was browsing the Walmart shoe clearance and there they were! The ended up hurting my feet, but I’m hoping that it was only because they were new, and not that they’re terrible shoes. The bling around my neck is my new lanyard that I got for $1.77 at the PX. I’ve seen similar ones at Walmart for $5.

Link up below! Just a link list from now on; my freebie subscription to Linky Tools ran out.

No, you didn’t bully me! It’s just a cuter name. If it sounded like I was blaming you, it was just because I write entries really quickly these days.
