It started as a half-serious joke, but I’ve gone and started an instagram account for special needs parents. Similar to the @averageparentproblems account, I’ve created @specialneedsparentproblems. It’s a support group for special needs parents, of sorts. A space where we can laugh at our unique problems and get lifted up, and/or get advice when warranted.
Will you join me? I’d love some submissions too. If you have a photo you’d like to see posted on the page, email it to me at retrokitty@gmail.com. Submissions will be posted as soon as they’ve been captioned and credit will be given, unless you’d like to stay anonymous. (So make sure to include your instagram handle in the email!)
